Shipping methods and costs

Movie Gallery and Hollywood Video offer the following shipping options for delivery within the U.S and Canada. At this time, we are unable to ship to P.O. boxes, APO/FPO addresses or US territories.

We use USPS, UPS and FedEx.

Returns and exchanges

To return or exchange an item please follow these simple steps:

  1. Contact our online Returns Center by emailing help@websales.hlyw.com  to begin processing your return or exchange.
  2. Repack the item in its original packaging with the packing slip. Use the return label provided by us. Please be sure your Order ID is on the return label for fast processing.
  3. For your security, please return your gift with an insured courier (e.g., FedEx, UPS, and USPS Parcel Post) and retain your receipt. We are not responsible for items damaged or lost in transit. If you are returning a gift because it is damaged or defective or you did not receive the product ordered, we will provide a prepaid USPS return label.

We will accept returns of a Retail Product as set forth below as long as you contact us within 30 days of your delivery date and obtain a Return Mailing Label, which must be included with your return shipment. This Return Mailing Label will be provided to you by our Online Return Center when you complete your return request. If your Retail Product is sent to us without a Return Mailing Label, it cannot be processed.  All refunds are made to the Retail Payment Method used for the original purchase.

We will accept returns of new, unopened Retail Products in the original shipping condition. We will refund the cost of the items, but not shipping and handling charges.  You will be required to pay the cost of returning the item.

We will accept returns of new or used Products that are damaged or defective (or an incorrect Retail Product if unopened).  We will replace the Retail Product or refund the cost of the Retail Product as well as shipping and handling charges, depending on what you request, and the availability of the product you are returning. You will not be required to pay the cost of returning the Retail Product as long as it is returned in accordance with our Online Return Center policies.

Items purchased at our store locations may not be returned through the eCommerce web site. Items purchased through our eCommerce site may not be returned to a store. 

Exchange Policy

While we can replace damaged or defective merchandise, we cannot exchange items. In order to receive the item you want as quickly as possible, simply return the unwanted item through our Online Returns Center, and place a new order for the item you wish to purchase. You do not have to wait for us to receive the original item before placing the new order. You will be refunded your original purchase price once we receive the item.
We are unable to honor previous sale prices or promotions when you place your new order.

Our Lifetime Guarantee

Hollywood Video and Movie Gallery guarantees that any used movie is free from defects for the lifetime of the product. If you encounter any defects in your used purchase, you may exchange it, along with the original receipt, for another copy of the same title. If another copy is not available, the item may be exchanged for a different used movie of equal or lesser value subject to availability at the store.
